Chane Behanan

A big name on the IU recruiting board in 2011 is Ohio power forward Chane Behanan. While Tom Crean's staff has been making a push to keep the best Indiana talent to stay in-state, they extended a scholarship offer to Behanan in late June. While the race for Behanan seems to have Louisville and West Virginia out front, the IU staff is trying to work out a visit for Behanan to come check out campus. Ranked at #24 nationally by Rivals (five-stars), Behanan is a hot prospect with offers from the two schools named before, as well as Cincinnati, Purdue, Oklahoma State, Mississippi State, Alabama, and Western Kentucky. He is definitely worth the recruiting efforts, and Coach Crean and Assistant Coach McLain were able to watch him play live yesterday at the Adidas Invitational.
