Kaminski will be a Spartan

Recent speculations about the college choice of Kenny Kaminski turned out to be correct after the 6-7 forward from Medina, Ohio gave his verbal committment to Michigan State earlier today. Kaminski, who played for Indiana Elite this summer, was down to MSU, Indiana, Ohio State and Wisconsin. You can chalk this up as another second-place finish for Crean and Co., as Kaminski will definitely be someone that will be a thorn in the Hoosiers side for presumably four long seasons. Luckily, the 2012 class is filled with talent and if Crean can pull in Zeller and Young for 2011 then Indiana will look like a much nicer home to the bigger '12 recruits. This is obviously a miss for Indiana but I do not think it is as bad as many once thought it would be.

"I have always felt really good with Michigan State and they have a great program right now." - Kenny Kaminski
Goes to show that current success is a huge factor for recruits, which makes it all the more important that Hoosiers continue to improve with the players that they have if they want to start landing top recruits down the line.
