Weekend Update

Sorry for the break but I am currently enjoying the thrills and sunshine at Cedar Point, the greatest amusement park in the world. Here's a few important notes that have happened in the last few days:
Top IU priority Cody Zeller picked up an offer from North Carolina the school that his older brother Tyler currently plays for. Many think that this puts UNC automatically at the top of his list, but I still like IU's chances. I think he ends up in cream and crimson and becomes the most important piece of Indiana's basketball resurgence.
Marshall Plumlee has committed to Duke University, a move that has been anticipated for quite some time due to the family's North Carolina location and the fact that BOTH of his older brothers are currently Blue Devils.
For all the White Sox fans out there: Paul Konerko continues to be awesome by making the AL All-star team as Justin Morneau's replacement. More importantly, after being 9.5 games out of first place on June 9, the Sox now enter the break with a 0.5 game LEAD in the AL Central. They have won 25 of 30 and are on an 8 game winning streak after sweeping the Rangers and Royals. Also, Carlos Quentin is a stud and has 2 straight 2HR games. What up Southsiders?!

  1. I figured that Zeller would pick up an offer from UNC after Plumlee committed to Duke. Let's hope Zeller picks IU.
