BJ Young Update

ESPN Recruiting's Paul Biancardi spoke with Indiana target BJ Young down in Orlando and posted the video interview on ESPN.com along with a nice write-up on Young's skills. When asked what schools Young was being recruited by, he named Indiana first before listing off a bunch of high-majors that now includes Purdue. The main take-away is when Young said that he plans on making his visits and then coming to a decision in late August or early September. Young has had plenty of great things to say about IU and seems to favor coming to Bloomington. The one holdup for the St. Louis point guard is his academics. With the way things look right now, should Young get his grade situation in order he is highly likely to play at Indiana. This would be fantastic news for Hoosiers fans, as Young (the #33 overall prospect) played very well this summer and even had a 40-point showing at Nationals last week.
