Depth Chart For Opener

The IU athletic department has released the official depth chart for this Thursday's season opener against the Towson Tigers. The game, which is being played at the rock, airs live on the Big Ten Network at 7:30/6:30 ct.

Some notable depth chart items:
* Due to a groin injury, Tandon Doss will not be in the lineup on Thursday night. Because of this, true freshman Kofi Hughes moved on to the two-deep behind Damarlo Belcher.
* The backup QB race seems to still be going on, as that position is listed at Dusty Kiel -or- Edward Wright-Baker. I'm assuming this means that Kiel is the actual back-up but EWB will be used in certain Wildcat-like formations. (I know, I'm really going out on a limb with that one...)
* Junior-college transfers Dre Kates (CB) and Lenyatta Kiles (CB turned FS) each made the two-deep as backups. Kates was voted the Junior College Player of the Year last season, while is a stud DB out of Cerritos C.C. in California.
* Sophomore RB Darius Willis, as we should expect after exploding last season, gets the starting job over fifth year senior Trea Burgess.
* RS freshman Duwyce Wilson and Nick Turner join RS senior Terrence Turner as the kick/punt return specialists.
