Harris down to 5, more

* According to this Rivals article (subscription required), Gary Harris has narrowed his list down to five schools. In no particular order, he is still considering Indiana, Michigan State, Ohio State, Notre Dame and Xavier. The most notably team to be cut by Harris is Illinois. Coach Bruce Weber was connected to the Harris family because his wife actually helped deliver Gary as a newborn. Also, today is Gary's birthday.

* Scout.com has released its updated list of the top 75 players for 2012. Notables: Gary Harris #15, Hanner Perea #21, Jeremy Hollowell #29, JP Tokoto #35, Yogi Ferrell #36, D'vauntes Smith-Rivera #37, AJ Hammons #45, Braxton Ogbueze #48, Wannah Bail #50, TJ Warren #61, Ron Patterson #69, Peter Jurkin NR

Glenn Robinson III has committed to the Michigan Wolverines, as reported by Scout's Evan Daniels. The Indiana wing was getting interest from both Indiana and Purdue (where his dad so famously played) but did not hold an offer from either school. He is ranked by Rivals as the #118 player in the 2012 class and is a solid pickup for Coach Beilein's staff.
