"The Pritch" Throws Down HARD

video courtesy: ESPN

Tom Pritchard has been playing much better in the past few games for the Hoosiers, but I think that tonight was his coming out party. "The Pritch" had 12 points on 5-5 shooting and 2-2 from the FT line. Tom looks like a completely different player. It's great to see him coming into his own, as I get the feeling someone finally got through to him and helped him get over his mental blocks. One play that stood out to me (besides the dunk) was in the second half where Tom got the ball on the baseline. He went hard to the hoop for a one-handed slam and got fouled in the process. Before tonight, I think we would have seen Pritchard put up a weak shot from the baseline or dish it out to someone else. But tonight Tom was playing with intensity and emotion and I think this is exactly the kind of game that he has needed. Not to mention he knocked down both freebies from the line!
Sidenotes:
- Check out Tom getting into it as he runs back down the court.
- Check out Mr. Slam Dunk Victor Oladipo seemingly in disbelief
- Just listen to Quinn Buckner... The Pritch had him talking nonsense!
- Also, this video is actually from ESPN's YouTube channel - The Pritch is on a national stage!
