Hoosier Source News Brief - April 21st, 2011

Here's a couple of Indiana-related news pieces that have been published in the past couple days:

* Inside The Hall's Alex Bozich caught up with Cody Zeller and Austin Etherington as they practiced for this Friday's Derby Festival Classic in Louisville. He posted a Q&A with the Hoosier signees, as well as some practice video. Here's the full roster, though some changes have been made due to injuries, etc.

* Former Hoosier Dane Fife is leaving his head coaching position at IPFW to take a job at Michigan State as one of Tom Izzo's assistants, reports Hugh Kellenberger.

* Coach Tom Crean has offered a scholarship to 2013 PG Josh Newkirk from Word of God Christian Academy (NC). Here's a short story from Inside The Hall, as well as recent Newkirk highlights from the Carolina Challenge.

* The Indiana Daily Student's Greg Rosenstein recently interviewed 2014 prospect Jaquan Lyle (Evansville Bosse). Lyle has recently made some interesting comments on Twitter, some directed at Hoosier recruits Etherington and Jeremy Hollowell. It seems Indiana is a strong leader in Lyle's recruitment right now, though the IDS interview indicates that Jaquan is still at least a year away from making a decision.

* Speaking of Twitter, 2014 star commitment Trey Lyles is now a member of the popular social media giant. Check him out at @TreyMambaLyles.
